I keep hearing how people are disgusted with the “Chernobyl Diaries” movie because it ‘makes a joke’ out of the disaster at hand.

But lets be honest…how many people are now AWARE of the disaster?

Are aware of the lives lost?

Aware of the long term aftermath effects?

And maybe, want to help?

I saw the movie last night, and while I was totally freaked out by it ((I seriously slept with my pepper spray and a walking cane)), I really want to learn more and maybe help those who are still trying to survive the aftermath one day at a time.
